About Dr. Mohan Raut
Dr. Mohan Raut MD, DGO received his degree(Graduation & Post Graduation) from the premier institute Seth G.S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Mohan Raut was 7th in the merit list of the Std 10th SSC Board Examination (Maharashtra Board) securing gold medal in Social Studies. Dr. Mohan Raut finished his graduation from the well-known Seth G.S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. His MBBS degree was graced with the top position in Gynecology & Obstetrics in 3rd year MBBS Examination. Dr. Raut went on to achieve his MD from Mumbai University.
In 1992, Dr. Mohan Raut was a part of International Multicentric Research Program in association with Oxford University on the role of Active Immunotherapy in Recurrent Miscarriages. Later, he had been involved in the Active Immunotherapy programme (LIT therapy) at H.N. Hospital, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Usha Krishna. He has contributed a chapter on Immunotherapy in Repeated Miscarriages in the book “Pregnancy At Risk : Current Concepts” published by FOGSI. He has published papers and spoken in International Conferences on the topic of Immunotherapy in Repeated Miscarriages. He has presented posters in Annual Conference of European Society of Reproductive Immunology ESRI, at Budapest (2014) & Oxford (2015)
His grave concern for women infertility led him and his wife Dr. Mugdha Raut to lay the foundation of Dr. Raut’s Women’s Hospital , which was the first to introduce India’s first ever gynecological counseling center.
Dr. Mohan Raut today has prioritized Women wellness and health of motherhood through the launch of Dr. Raut's Centre for Reproductive Immunology –Immunotherapy Centre for Prevention and Repeated Miscarriages. Dr. Raut's Centre for Reproductive Immunology is dedicated in diagnosing, treating and providing women suffering from repeated miscarriages and recurrent IVF failures, a chance of having a successful pregnancy outcome through Immunotherapy.
Currently, he is writing a book on “Immunotherapy in Repeated Miscarriages & Implantation Failure’, with Springer Publication, Germany, along with his wife, Dr. Mugdha Raut
